Parks and Gardens is the institution in charge of maintaining and managing Barcelona’s parks, gardens and beaches. Their communication needs range from campaigns encouraging people to use and enjoy these areas to publicizing specific events throughout the year (spring festival, activities for schools in the parks, the nativity scene in Sant Jaume square and the jazz and classical music concerts in the park, to mention just a few).
We have been in charge of the communication for Parks and Gardens for more than 4 years. Our challenge, in addition to communicating specific events, is to create transcendent campaigns that reach the widest possible audience.
To do this, we created a concept for the brand that, in addition to promoting (and idealizing) the relationship of residents with their environment, would cause very different groups to come together in the city’s parks, gardens and beaches.
Since then, “estima el que t’envolta” (“love what surrounds you”) has been Parks and Garden’s
leitmotiv for all their materials.
